The guide to RBT pay and paid hours makes a point worth repeating: an hourly rate is not a promise of 40 paid hours. $27 for 24 hours pays $648 a week, and $23 for 32 hours pays $736. In North Carolina, ask each employer what a new RBT typically gets paid in a month, whether cancellations are covered, and whether mileage is reimbursed.

If you're also weighing jobs in Georgia, RBT pay in Georgia applies the same paid-hours math to Georgia listings.
